MJFT Supports Haiti Earthquake Fundraiser
Lisa White is shown receiving a cheque from Operations Director Jim Dobbs. This donation to Medecin Sans Frontieres for over $2000 supported "HEAR US NOW" - a fundraising event held February 6th, 2010 with proceeds going to charities working in Haiti. Almost 40 performers presented their best in a wonderful variety show. Many volunteers helped make the evening a smooth one, and the silent auction was a great success.

eBay's GIVE Team present a cheque for $1500 in support of the Michael J. Fox Theatre's Scholarship Program.

Media Arts Program Benefits
Burnaby South Secondary Media Arts classes received an unexpected gift from a unique three-way transaction. The Michael J. Fox Theatre provided stage, auditorium and technical support to Strand Lighting for a recent series of lighting console master classes. In return, Strand provided two Arturo softlights and two Bambino fresnels to the school's RATV studios.
