There are two basic methods of seating an audience. In “Festival' “Rush” or “Open” seating, the audience selects their own seats from those which remain available upon their arrival. In the “Hard Ticket” method, tickets will have been printed with row and seat numbers, and patrons will be seated according to the tickets that they hold.
Both seating methods allow for multiple pricing. Hard ticketing is the most flexible, allowing arbitrary pricing of various groups of seats. Festival seating still allows for price grouping, but the groups should be few and well defined. For example, our lower house accommodates 163 patrons and the upper house 450 . The lower could be designated as a higher, or VIP price class and the upper as a lower, or general admission price group. It is even possible to hard ticket one section with assigned seating and leave another section as general admission.
Our front-of-house staff will help seat your audience appropriately depending on which seating method you choose.
